Divorce is not the end

Divorce is not something I would suggest anyone takes lightly.

Divorce is deeply destructive to so many people, to yourself, your partner, your children, your parents, your friends and anyone you happen to be leading.

This is a big deal. Really BIG.

I know there are situations where there is no choice but to leave, If there is any sort of violence, mental or emotional abuse. Then there is the fact that your partner has left you, giving you no choice in the matter.

What ever relationship you are in, there will be difficult times.

Will you work through these times or will you run?

Working through the challenges is hard work, there is no easy way around it, but I want you to consider this. If you work through your challenges and come to a solution to keep your relationship together - You have won. This is a huge victory.

On the other hand, if you give up, because you think it is too difficult or you can not be bothered to put in the hard work (and it will be hard work) then you will be creating a lot more work for you in the future. 10 times as much if not more.

So far we have just talked about you.

What about your children? That one decision to break up your family could mean your children will have to work for the rest of their lives, just to find some kind of peace and understanding. I could even totally destroy their lives putting them on a trail of destruction that carries on for generations.

I am speaking from experience. Even though I am finding healing in my life.
Are my children finding that same healing?
I don't think so.

You know it your heart what is the right thing to do!

Why not do it? Save yourself and all those around you a lot of heartache and pain.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Enjoy your Life,

Dave.
