Isn't it great that we get to start a fresh new day every day?
Sure we do bring a lot of our problems and commitments from yesterday but today is still a new day.
We all get a new day every day but I think very few of us realise just what a blessing that actually is.
Do you take the time to focus on all the great things a new day brings to your life?
Morning people get to see great sunrises. Personally I like to sleep in a little later but when I do get up it is still a new day to me. I do however get to see quite a lot of sunsets, I love watching the sun go down and just spend time reflecting on all the great things the has brought to me. I could have been as simple as a smile from someone in the street, you may have met someone who will become a long term friend.
LIVE Life, EXPECTANT
If you start you day with expectancy you will be amazed at how many great things can happen in just one day. We all have memorable days but for some they can come way too infrequently. I is up to us to "Seize The Day" so to speak.
Have you ever taken the time to think how many days you have on this wonderful planet?
Lets be generous, if you live to be 90 years old you will have 32 850 days. Now if you believe you will only be around for 80 years then it is just 29 200 days.
We will stay with the 90 year scenario for the moment. Take away your childhood. Lets call that 16 years or 5840 days, that only leaves you with 27 010 days to enjoy. It is not very many is it?
I bet there are not too many 16 year old's reading this blog either.
The fact is life is short and we don't have forever to make a difference in this world.
I am already 50 so that just leaves me just 14 400 days left and that is if I make it to 90.
Enough of the stats.
To really be able to find what is good in each and every day we must be living our passion.
I know we all have to work.
Some of us hate our jobs.
I am not saying quit your job, but start making plans towards living your passion.
I quite enjoy my job in Graphic Design but I also love to write.
You will fine me here most days on my blog.
I am also starting to write my first book.
What ever your dream.
Make a start, however small that is.
If you keep at it little by little, day by day, one day you will find you are living your dream.
