Good days are reality, too. So are success stories. When people defy the odds and do something spectacular in the face of a challenge, that's part of real life. All of those positives are just as real as the negatives.
When you focus on something, it's that much more likely to become part of your reality. When you visualize something, you increase the odds of experiencing it. When you wrap yourself in the blanket of being a "realist" and announcing the glass' half-emptiness, you're setting yourself up to experience more of the negatives and fewer of the world's positives.
In other words, the stuff you've been taught about the power of positive thinking is true. So is its flip side. When you're brain is packed with negativity, you usually find yourself neck-deep in negative things.
You can be a realist while having a very positive outlook on life. That, in turn, will just make everything even better. Don't let the "realists" scare you away from maintaining a positive outlook about what's ahead for you. You do have a say in how your life works out, and much of that influence will start with the way you perceive the world.
Interesting conclusion that we are creative beings as the Bible says we are.
Why not create your reality today?
It's your life.
Own It.
Enjoy your Life,
Dave.
