Failing Well

We all fail.

There is no way around it. When ever you want to learn a new skill you will make mistakes and you will fail. It has been said by so many that if you fail often you will be successful.

I think the problem with most people is they don't want to fail.

Seems reasonable when you first look at it but in actual fact it is totally wrong.

The thing most people do to avoid failing is DO NOTHING.

A guarantee that you won't fail.

Also a guarantee that you will never succeed.

The key is to make failure your friend.
If failure is your friend, you're are expecting to fail then you won't be disappointed when it happens.
Don't get into a mind set that says you will always fail. I am not saying that at all. I am saying have a positive attitude with an expectation to succeed but don't be surprised when you do fail.

It really is a numbers game, the more failures you have the more successes you will also have.

When you break it down to what is really happening. It is not about failure or success.

It is about DOING.

Not talking.

Not planning.

Not thinking.

You need all of these things but without doing you will fail. If you do something then you will succeed and fail.

Simple really DO SOMETHING.

Why not make that something that you love doing.

Enjoy your Life,

Dave.
